Privacy policy
Your videos never leave your device. There is no login or account system. Two things are processed off-device: subscription billing, and anonymous analytics about how the app is used.

Camera & microphone
10SF requests access to your camera and microphone so you can record videos directly in the app. Video and audio are captured and processed on your device and are not transmitted to us or to any third-party server.
Video & photo libraries
Videos you record are kept in 10SF’s on-device library so you can view, manage, and edit them later. They are not uploaded. If you choose to export a video, 10SF writes a copy to your device’s photo library. The app does not read or upload existing photos or videos without your action.
Subscriptions & payments
10SF Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Apple handles the payment, so we never see your card details, your name, or your Apple Account.
To keep your subscription working across your devices, and to restore it if you reinstall the app, 10SF uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. When you subscribe or tap Restore, RevenueCat receives:
- The App Store receipt for the purchase and which plan you bought.
- A randomly generated installation ID. It is not your name, email, or Apple Account.
- Basic technical details, such as your device model, operating system version, app version, and country.
This is used only to determine whether your subscription is active. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is never linked to your videos. If you never subscribe and never tap Restore, none of it is sent.
What we don’t collect
- No account, login, or sign-in of any kind.
- Your videos, photos, and audio are never uploaded.
- We do not collect your name, email, or contacts through the app.
- We do not sell your data or share anything for advertising.
- No advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, and no ad identifier is ever requested.
Analytics
10SF uses PostHog to count how the app is used, so we can tell which cameras people shoot with and where the app gets in their way. It is anonymous, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
What is sent is a short, fixed list of moments — the app being opened, onboarding being finished, a video being recorded or exported, the subscription screen being shown, and whether a purchase succeeded or failed. Alongside each, we record which camera look was used, whether an export carried the free-tier watermark, and basic technical details such as your device model, operating system version, and app version.
What is never sent:
- Your videos. No video, no audio, no frames, no thumbnails, no captions, no filenames.
- Your name, email, or Apple Account — the app has none of these to send.
- Anything that identifies you personally. Events are tied to a randomly generated installation ID, and no user profile is ever created.
Screen recording is switched off in the app's configuration and will stay off: most of this app's screen is a live camera feed. This data is processed by PostHog on servers in the United States. None of it is used for advertising, and none of it is sold.
Crash reports
If you have turned on Share iPhone Analytics in iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance diagnostics with us. That setting is controlled by you.
Children’s privacy
10SF is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no account, no profile, and no way to contact other people.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds features that require collecting or storing more data off your device, this page will be updated first to describe what changed and why, with a revised date above.
